While you would expect Jeanette to be a qualified and experienced Interior Decorator (and she is) what you may not know is that she is also an Image Consultant and past chapter president of AICI (Association of Image Consultants International). Coco Chanel once said that “Fashion is Architecture – it’s all about proportions”. Decorator to the stars, Christopher Lowell, says that if you can dress yourself, you can decorate a room! It’s not rocket science, and Jeanette is happy to share ideas and expertise with anyone – be it a colour klutz or aspiring decorator. Getting the look right is a matter of pulling together style, colour, proportion, line, emphasis and repetition; while working with finishes, materials, fabrics, light and space – whew! At the end of the day, it is all about how you feel in your space. Just as we all dress differently, what looks beautiful to us is different too. This is where Jeanette’s expertise in assessing personal colour and design gives her a head start with working in your home. When is comes to colour and design, there really is no ‘one-size-fits-all’!
